International cooperation - BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

Our faculty successfully applied for the ARRS (Slovenian Research Agency) public tender named "Sofinanciranje znanstvenoraziskovalnega sodelovanja med Republiko Slovenijo ter Bosno in Hercegovino v letih 2019 – 2020 (Co-financing scientific and research cooperation between the Republic of Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the years 2019-2020)". Duration of the project: January 15, 2019 - December 31, 2020

Subject of the public tender:
The subject of the public tender is the co-financing of intercourse visits (up to 14 days) by Slovenian researchers and researchers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, which carry out joint scientific and research projects (hereinafter: bilateral projects) in the years 2019-2020. The Slovene side will also co-finance longer visits (from 1-3 months) in the Republic of Slovenia for younger researchers (postgraduate students and postdoctoral candidates up to five years after the doctoral degree) from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Priority will be given to projects in commonly agreed priority areas:

• informatics and telecommunications,
• energy,
• food,
• environment,
• cultural and creative economy.

Objectives of the public tender:
The objective of the public tender is to strengthen scientific research cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina, to increase the mobility of Slovenian researchers and the number of top-level researchers from Bosnia and Herzegovina in Slovenia and to increase the number of applications by Slovenian researchers in the calls for proposals of the European Union's research and innovation programs and other international calls.
