Rotavapor or Rotary Vacuum Evaporator is used for quick, efficient and elegant evaporation. The advantage of the rotary evaporator before vacuum distillation is that, due to the rotation of the flask, the surface from which the solvent is evaporated increases significantly, and thus the rate of evaporation.
