Respirometer for analysis of biodegradability (ECHO, RESEP 02)

Respirometer is an apparatus that measures the final level of aerobic biodegradability of polymeric materials in the aqueous medium and the final degree of aerobic biodegradability and degradation of polymeric materials under controlled composting conditions. With the respirometer we can determine the activities of biological treatment plants, determine the suitability and rate of decomposition of individual substances and wastewater in the treatment plant, and determine the biodegradation of waste. It can also determine the activity of microorganisms, measure the biological activity of organisms (the concentration of carbon dioxide in the exhausted air) and measure fermentation activities.
