Granulator (SCHEER)

The granulator is intended for the preparation of granules. Although in our case it is a laboratory granulator, it is very compact and robust. By adjusting the speed of the two rotors (dosing head, knife), we can completely control the length of the granulate. The size of the granules depends on the dosing speed, which can be adjusted manually.

Granulation is the process of increasing the specific surface of the extruded strand. This is achieved in such a way that the strand is fed to a rotating serrated blade which cut the strand into granules.
