Differencial scanning calorimeter (Mettler Toledo, DSC 2)

The thermal properties of materials such as melting temperature, melting enthalpy, glass transition temperature, thermal capacity can be determined with this instrument. We can also determine the kinetics of the chemical reaction. The material can be heated and / or cooled at a certain heating / cooling rate and then the energy changes in the sample are measured. We can also heat or cool the material to a certain temperature and follow the changes at a constant temperature - crystallization or kinetics of the reaction.
