Accelerated aging test (Atlas, SUNTEST XXL +)

The UV thermostatic chamber SUNTEST XXL / XXL + is an apparatus in which, through the simulation of weather conditions, such as moisture, rain, sun and different temperatures, we can observe what is happening with the polymer or the material that is exposed to such conditions. We can set the humidity, the temperature of the black standard, the temperature in the chamber, radiation and spray.

Such tests are of important for materials that are exposed to light for the long period of time, with different temperatures and varying humidity. This method is often used in the testing of natural materials such as wood and cotton. It is also useful for testing all other types of materials from polymers to metals and ceramics.
